About these terms
These terms govern your use of the Icecone website at icecone.co.uk and any web design, hosting, or support services we provide. By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Icecone is a web design agency based in the United Kingdom. You can contact us at David@icecone.co.uk.
Our services
Icecone provides website design, development, hosting, and ongoing support for businesses. The specific scope of work, deliverables, and pricing for each project are agreed in writing before work begins.
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue a project at our discretion, in which case we will give reasonable notice and will not charge for undelivered work.
Free website offer
Where we offer to build a website at no upfront cost, the website is provided as part of an ongoing monthly hosting and support plan. The website remains hosted and maintained for as long as the monthly plan is active. If the plan is cancelled, hosting and support will cease at the end of the paid period.
Monthly plans and payment
Monthly hosting and support plans are billed in advance. Prices will be confirmed in writing before any plan begins. We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price changes.
Either party may cancel a monthly plan by giving 30 days' written notice. There are no long-term contracts or exit fees.
Cancellation and cooling-off period
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel a service agreement within 14 days of entering into it without giving any reason. To exercise this right, contact us at David@icecone.co.uk.
If you have requested that work begins within the 14-day cooling-off period, you may be required to pay for work already completed up to the point of cancellation.
Intellectual property
Once a project is complete and all agreed fees have been paid, you own the content of your website (text, images you provided, and the final design). We retain the right to use generic code, frameworks, and tools that are not unique to your project.
We may include a small credit link to Icecone on websites we build, unless you ask us to remove it.
